All
Macra Lace fabrics are manufactured in our Oxford, North Carolina, USA
plant. Every step of the process is performed at one site location, from
yarn preparation to shipping of finished goods. Founded in 1975, we have a
long history of innovation and a commitment to producing the most
exciting and best quality fabrics in the industry.
As the mill has expanded to more
than 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space over the years, we have continued
to add modern machinery so that we may produce advanced fabrics and offer
industry-leading solutions. Our broad range of machinery enables us to
offer a full spectrum of knitted lace products.
With
15 Rascheltronic machines, Macra Lace is the leading producer of Rascheltronic
fabrics in North America, creating exciting high performance fabrics, both
rigid and elastic, with jacquard lace patterns. We recently purchased the
first 5 bar machine of this type sold in the USA, giving us the capability to
produce an even wider array of goods for the intimate apparel industry. We
are expanding even further into this market, with more production machinery on
the way.
Our state of the art dyeing and finishing facility, located on site, allows us to provide our customers with the best possible quality finished goods. Having complete control of the finishing process enables us to rapidly produce samples and to more readily meet our customers' needs.
Macra Lace also manufactures a wide array of Lace home furnishings. Our outlet store, located adjacent to the factory, is a popular stop for many travelers and local customers alike. Our home furnishings products sell in retail stores across the country with our own label, The Oxford House Collection, and also through our customers' private labels.
